How much does the ceremony cost ?
The base fee for the consultation, contract, and ceremony is £150. Travel expenses and an hourly rate will be charged in addition to the base fee.
Can i perform my nikah online ?
It is preferable not to and makes signing the contracts difficult, however, an online service can be provided if needed. Please see our answer regarding the validity of online nikahs at https://marifahinstitute.com/skype-marriage/
Can you provide a venue ?
We cannot provide a venue, this is the responsibility of the couple.
How many witnesses do I need ?
At least 2 witnesses are needed for the contract. The imam can act as a witness.
What is the recommended mahr ?
The mahr is whatever the couple agrees on. It can be given as a delayed or immediate or partially of both. A suggested figure is £5,000.
